Temporal Comparison
How does Catalyst's run-anywhere capability compare to Temporal's deployment options?
Both support deployment across cloud and on-premises environments. Temporal can be self-hosted on any infrastructure, including air-gapped setups. Catalyst, as a managed platform, also runs in air-gapped and private-cloud environments, but with Diagrid managing the control plane. Catalyst additionally provides workload identity and MCP tool policy for secure agent execution across environments. If you need full infrastructure autonomy, Temporal self-hosted is flexible; Catalyst offers similar reach with less operational complexity.
