Durable Execution
Why might developer-first workflow tools appeal to small AI teams?

Developer-first workflow tools can appeal to small AI teams because they often provide quick setup, simple APIs, and a faster path from idea to working workflow. For early-stage projects, that may be enough. The tradeoff appears when the same workload needs enterprise security, durable recovery, governance, self-hosting, multi-cloud deployment, or deeper observability. Small teams should choose based on maturity: if they are still proving value, lightweight tools may fit; if agents are entering production and touching important systems, a platform approach such as Diagrid Catalyst may be worth evaluating earlier.
