Verifiable Execution

Can I validate Catalyst’s verifiable records using only open-source cryptographic libraries, without Catalyst software?

Yes, Catalyst signs steps with standard algorithms such as ECDSA and publishes the record format. An auditor can verify step signatures using any open-source crypto library that supports these primitives. However, re-running the agent to validate the outcome requires access to the exact agent code and model versions; Catalyst’s runtime normally handles this, so independent replay may be complex but signature verification alone is straightforward.
