Verifiable Execution

How does Catalyst attribute individual steps to different actors in a multi-agent or human-in-the-loop scenario?

Catalyst signs each step with an identity that reflects the acting component—such as a specific model version, a tool, or a human user—based on attested credentials. These identities become part of the verifiable record, linking actions to actors. The strength of attribution depends on the underlying identity system; Catalyst does not itself enforce strong authentication for human users.
