Dapr in Production

What are the security differences between self-hosted Dapr and Diagrid Conductor?

Self-hosted Dapr requires you to manage mTLS certificates, secret stores, and access control policies manually. Diagrid Conductor automates certificate rotation, integrates with cloud IAM for workload identity, and provides centralized policy enforcement for Dapr building blocks. Conductor also offers audit logging and compliance certifications out of the box. Self-hosting gives you full control over security configurations, while Conductor reduces misconfiguration risks.
