Temporal Comparison
Which platform is better for teams already using Dapr: Catalyst or Temporal?
For teams already using Dapr, Catalyst is the natural choice because it is built on Dapr Workflows and integrates seamlessly with other Dapr building blocks like pub/sub, state, and service invocation. Temporal would require a separate integration layer and does not leverage Dapr's runtime. Catalyst also adds agentic features and workload identity, which complement Dapr's capabilities. Catalyst offers a more cohesive stack for distributed applications.
