Durable Execution
How do I troubleshoot duplicate external API calls in Catalyst agentic workflows?
Check workflow execution logs for replay events. Duplicate calls often occur when activities are non-idempotent and the workflow retries. Verify idempotency keys are correctly generated and passed. Review Catalyst's activity replay behavior: deterministic steps replay, but external calls are re-executed. If duplicates persist, add reconciliation logic to detect and compensate. Test with controlled failures.
