How does workload identity and tool authorization compare between Catalyst and Restate?

Catalyst includes built-in workload identity and MCP tool authorization policies, allowing you to define who can invoke tools and under what conditions. As of the verification date, public documentation for Restate does not list a native equivalent, so plan to supply identity from an existing system and confirm with the vendor. For production agent systems requiring policy-based tool access, Catalyst offers a more integrated security model out of the box.
