With over 150 respondents and almost 1000 downloads, last year's inaugural State of Dapr report provided the Dapr community with the first opportunity to reflect on the growth and usage of the 12th largest project in the CNCF, as well as project their wishes, desires, and feedback to the community and open source project leaders to help shape the roadmap. Like all good movies, the sequel is here for 2024 and promises to provide even more insights as the community has grown and we have the opportunity to reflect how answers are trending over the past 12 months.

Whether you're running Dapr in production, starting a PoC, or just learning or evaluating, your feedback matters! We were blown away last year to hear how people used the report to see what backing services others were using for each API, how people were planning to adopt new APIs (workflow especially!), and the real-world benefits organizations were seeing from adopting Dapr.

Sharing all this data really helps grow our community and drive the discussion of how unified APIs can drive developer productivity, delivering more secure & more reliable microservices apps.
