Dapr, the Distributed Application Runtime, is a graduation CNCF project, built for creating and running distributed applications at scale.

In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn:

  • What Dapr is, and why it's useful when building distributed applications
  • How to use the Dapr CLI
  • How to use the Dapr state management API
  • How to do service invocation with Dapr
  • How to do pub/sub messaging with Dapr

Demo code is available in .NET, Java, Python, and JavaScript.

The workshop is run entirely in an online sandbox -- there is no need to install anything locally.
